Why I built this
I have the Amex Platinum. I kept forgetting my Saks credit until it was too late. I'd remember my Uber cash but miss the Resy dining credit entirely. So I built Recoup — a simple monthly email that tells me exactly what's expiring and how to use it. Now I actually get the value I'm paying for.

How do you know when benefits reset?
We track the official reset schedules published by Amex — monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and yearly. Your email always reflects the current period.
Do you store my card info?
No. We only store your email and which cards you have (Platinum, Gold, or both). We never ask for card numbers or connect to your Amex account.
Can I add or remove cards later?
Yes. Every email includes a link to your preferences page where you can update your cards, toggle individual benefits on/off, and change your email frequency.
What does the email look like?
A clean, dark-themed digest grouped by expiration date. Each benefit shows the credit amount, merchant, and actionable tips with direct links to redeem.
Can I customize what I get?
Yes. You can choose which cards you have, toggle individual benefits on or off, and choose between monthly digests only or monthly digests plus mid-month urgency alerts when credits are about to expire. Your digest only includes what you care about.
Is this free?
Yes. Recoup is free. You're already paying enough for the card.
